We Need Your Help - New Blockchain Based Project [Rewards Are Waiting] 🏆steemCreated with Sketch.

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians!

We had already many opportunities to convince ourselves about the strength of Steemit community. Together we can truly do a lot! Many interesting projects have seen the daylight thanks to our community. That’s why along with @awareentity decided to tell You about our idea. We want to ask about your opinions, ideas and advices, which may help us in achieving our goal. We’ll appreciate your help for sure, because it is very valuable for us. At the same, thanks to your help we’ll be able to deploy our idea into life. It’ll help to implement blockchain into daily use for millions of companies around the world.

So, what is it all about?

The core of our project is blockchain based cloud hosting service. Project will be extended to additional tools, which will be helping entrepreneurs in their everyday work. To cut long story short, those tools will be supporting marketing and sales on the internet. Our main goal is to create a tool which will give real values so that it’ll contribute to cryptocurrencies promotion in the mainstream.

Blockchain based cloud hosting means:

  • high data security and accessibility in the same time
  • fast websites and applications loading time, regardless of the localization
  • better conversion due to shorter page loading time
  • lower infrastructure maintenance costs

It’s quite probable that some day you visited a website and you were surprised about how fast it loaded. It’s loading speed was way better than that of sites with similar structure. It is highly probable that this site was using CDN (Content Delivery Network). This service allows for very quick site loading along with all the content, pictures and media included on the website. We are planning to implement such a service to our platform as well and here’s why:

As the statistics shows, page loading speed is very crucial for the conversion, what means significant financial benefits for the business. Every second delay of page loading means 11% fewer page views, 16% less client satisfaction and 7% less conversion.

For the company such as Amazon page loading speed increase about 100 milliseconds means 1% increase in revenue. In practice this is 4,65 billion more revenue just because of a little increase of page loading speed!

Another problem is that the page loading speed depends on the locations of user and the server. In the example below, we can notice that the same website is being loaded 2 times longer when we’re connecting from Sweden than as we were in USA.

Among others, those statistics is our motivation to implement such a service in our blockchain based project. We care about delivering real value because this will be the basis of our cryptocurrency valuation.

Now, very important part - our questions:

  1. Do you know any blockchain based project providing web hosting services?
  2. Do you think that the blockchain technology will work out in web hosting services?
  3. What online tools do you think are particularly useful in marketing and sales? Can you give some examples?
  4. Do you know any talented blockchain developer who could become the member of our team?
  5. Which one is best in your opinion:
cooperation with existing decentralized data processing platforms?
creating everything from the very beginning?

Every opinion is worth one’s weight in gold

Every factual comment will be rewarded with upvotes and new cryptocurrency, immediately after the release. We’ll be very grateful for esteeming this post - thanks to that many more people will be able to contribute to our project. There’s a lot of work in front of us and thanks to you we’ll be able to start our work faster and make it much more effective. Will you support us?

Looks like no one (yet) answered the interesting "1
Million dollar questions" @websensei & for the 1million $ questions #4:David Braun & Cris Wagner are just some of the top blockchain developers I know.😀

Nice infograhic. Upvoted & resteemed

Thanks for your help @joville! You are great!

I saw your post in my facebook group Seemit Community. I have decided to upvote it for its quality. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks a lot @stea90 :)

  1. Maidsafe is attempting this. However it's not blockchain, but incentivized distributed redundant data storage and bandwith, together with DHT.
  2. If you want to make it permissionless, blockchain will help with payments and acting as a central source of information like key's and addresses. Not for data storage itself. If you make it permissioned, just use existing infrastructure.
  3. NO idea
  4. No
  5. This would be a huge undertaking whatsoever, so cooperation.

This sounds like an interesting project. Decentralisation is definitely better in many areas. I look forward to seeing more on what you are doing. Some of our team has worked in the CDN space and I believe there is a large opportunity for disruption in this space.
Good post.

Exactly. We are sure that decentralization is the future and it will change many industries. Good to know you have someone who has worked in the CDN project. Thank you @sportspodium! We are in touch!

Interesting project. There would be definitely lot of demand if it works better (faster, more reliable) than centralized solutions. There are some distributed storage projects that works for static pages or client-side applications (StrorJ or Maidsafe) but I don't think there are truly distributed solutions allowing generic server-side processing because it's very complex problem where you need not only storage but also computation processing and handling state in distributed network. Today you have partial solutions across various crypto projects each focusing certain specific and definitely their performance is still far beyond even average centralized solution.

Thanks for your opinion @jimmco :) We will do our best! :)

So questions, questions, questions. Let's start with the first one and move down:

  1. I don't think any exist at the moment as the blockchain is fairly new to the world
  2. It may, but I have some doubts, for example, the time it takes to load a picture from a single storing server unit even if it uncompressed is much less than loading fragments from dozens of randomly distributed storages with varying speed. Also how many people are familiar with blockchain and will the trust it? What if one device fails, will you keep same data on multiple devices?
  3. YouTube , Twitter and Facebook ads. They'll probably do the job, maybe apply for Google ads but I don't believe it's much better.
4.No, I don't think I know, try seeing if some freelance guys are into it.
5.This is your decision, the latter is much more time and resources consuming but may work better, MAY. If it doesn't, it was a big waste.
Well, those were my thoughts, take it as you like it but don't hold me responsible for anything as it is your decision after all.

Thanks @nirado for your answer for all our questions. It's great to know another perspective. We test it, but website loading time on decentralized hosting can be much less than on standard hosting. We'll do our best! :)

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted from the communal account, @minnowsupport, by websensei from the Minnow Support Project.
