How about green? This is a wide angle shot in the forest looking straight up into the sky during a G3 solar storm at 54 Degrees North. Vivian Lake, Prince George, Northern British Columbia, Canada.
Certainly the most amazing sky I have ever seen; it was pulsing green in every direction bright enough to see your own shadow.
I have also put it up here

This is a perfect example of painting the sky. Great shot!
Thanks mate. Glad you like it.
Oh my goodness... That looks like it would have been amazing to be in... Very jealous! Does it move really fast as well?
You can just see the flickering I am talking about a little in this video. Hardly comes across however . In person it’s quite disturbing as the whole sky flickers .
That is awesome. One of my wife's things on her vision board is to stay here at this resort and watch the norther lights.

Would be cool to do !
Yes on this occasion it moved quite quickly. Hard to describe but the swirls move like the speed you might be able to stir something in a bowl with your hands. Then overlayed on that there is like an electromagnetic pulsing which lights up and dims sections of the aurora . Perhaps like a faulty TV flickering on and off . You don’t see this in timelapes as it’s very quick ( pulsing at 10 times a second perhaps ) . There is some real time video footage from some of the new super high iso Sony video cameras that show it.

I was looking through my photos undecided which photo to choose.. And then I found this one that I took in Paraguay and had totally forgotten about! Without your contest, this photo would have probably stayed undiscovered forever in some remote corner of my hard drive :D
this is an oldy, 600d with 18-55 kit lens, think the middle exposure was 20 sec
This is an awesome shot. I took a sunrise picture that was similar to this on road trip. We driving in New Mexico and I had to pull over and get out of the car because the colors in the sky were so awesome.
This is near my home in Australia - the Glass House Mountains area is a spiritual home for Aboriginal people. I just never get tired of the splendid sunset over these volcanic peaks.
This is my entry to Deranged Photography Contest hosted by derangedvisions.
I'm a stayhome mom. I take photos with my IPhone7 and then do editing in different kinds of apps. I also like to draw and paint.
I took this photo on Sunday morning around 6.50 am. The waves were strong, but the sky was gorgeous.

This is a beautiful shot. The sky and the reflection on the water are magnificent.
Crazy Cloud

This large cloud formation is nicely lit up by the setting sun as I look across the Verde Valley. The rain is nearing its end and the thunderhead is deflating, then finally this beautiful cloud will disappear into the sky.

These colors are awesome. It looks like a pastel painting. Great shot.
Thanks, good to hear.
This is my favorite sunrise shot over the flat desert of Lancaster, CA. Off in the distance somewhere in the frame is where my grandmother grew up during The Depression.
This is such a magnificent shot. There are so many colors! Awesome entry!
I got lucky. We happened to drive through at the right time. It's like my grandma was sending me a little gift. I have a whole series of these, but this one is my favorite. Shot it all out the car window without stopping too. Hah.

Hi there! This is my amateur-tier entry to this contest. Photo of the sunset was taken during one of our strolls in Manila Bay, Philippines.

Great shot. I love the red in the sky.
Thank you so much!
