Swimming after running 😴

This felt particularly hard after a fast running set. But supposedly I need to get used to it seeing as there is less than 5 months until my first proper triathlon. Not sure how i’m going to swim almost all of this distance, bike for 50k & then run a 10k at the end? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Set consisted of
200m warm up
150m kick conditioning

Main set was 200m at threshold pace, 20secs recovery. 25m kick, 25m pull, 20 secs recovery. Repeat until 5mins before the end.

100m cool down

Pub for a pint 🍺

Looks like you went a bit slower this time! Remember that it's important to take some rest days, and do some rehab / prehab / strength and conditioning training too! If you weren't intending to go slower, take a moment to listen to your body, and see if you need something. Check in with yourself!
