Have Fun In The Tempyo Summer Festival In Nara, Japan
Hello my steemit friends,
I’d like to take you back to the Nara Period at the Heijokyo Imperial Palace in The Tempyo Summer Festival in Nara. The event is held every year on the last Friday to Sunday of August. My friend and I took the rapid train from Osaka to Nara Prefecture about 45-60 minutes. Thenwe took the free bus service in front of the Nara station to the event.
The Tempyo Summer Festival is an illumination event with many lights decorated over the whole area in front of Heijo Palace. The theme is Tanabata, the star festival based on a legend of 2 lovers who cross The Milky Way to meet just once a year.
In the event had costume parades, light show, and candle illumination. Hope you enjoy the Japanese festival with me.

Oh wow, I was in Nara 2 years ago and absolutely loved it! But seeing it at night must have been another story! I wish I was there at the time of the festival.
