My morning healthy smoothie

So I'm not one that does "healthy" breakfast. I like big stacks of pancakes, bacon, sausage, and all the other things that add to my waistline. So for Father's Day, my wife got me a Nutribullet blender. So now, I make healthy smoothies. Thought I would let you guys know the recipe I used today.

In the mixer put:

  • 8-10 spinach leaves (with or without stalks. I go with)
  • 3/4 of a cup of frozen berries (I use a blend of strawberries, blueberries, and mango)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter (or regular, I'm just out and today is grocery day)

After that, fill it to the max liquid line with your favorite milk or milk alternative. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Blend it up and you're golden! Enjoy your delicious breakfast shake full of awesomeness!

Smoothies are the best energizers you can find in the morning and actually all over the day. I've got to start making them on a daily basis.
