The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.

  • If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.

  • It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.

  • 30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, or SPINNING (new) can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.

My Daily Challenge Completed - 100 reps:

-100 Push-ups (reps easier, but really sore chest / tris)

My Daily Assessment:

Still had no weights at my parent's house, so more push-ups. I tried to eat a little lighter today since I weighed in at 206 yesterday, a new high, but in a good way. I'll be back to my apartment tomorrow to use a different muscle group since my chest is mad at me right now. Somehow my calves are still very sore from only 75 reps 6 days ago. I don't get it.

Feedback from @mightpossibly:

"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

Welcome back!

After a week of a spiritual workout, good to see excitement to hit the weights. Wasn't sure if you were going to move out East to be a monk.

I am a hedonist monk. I travel the world spreading the gospel of do shit that makes you happy.

Challenge Completed - 100 reps
50 Squats
50 Push Ups

Road to recovery starts with some jogging and ends up with pushing reps. Nice.

Challenge Completed - today 285 reps
Physical
120 reps - Walking 40 minutes X 2 - includes down and up elevation of 300 ft
10 reps - yoga asanas - 10 min X 2
5 reps - pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) 5 min X 2

50 reps Dumbells/kettleballs - did 100 reps with light dumbells so counting 1/2 - flies, presses, curls, lifts, twists.

Mental
100 reps = 1+ hours X 2 Transcendental Meditation and advanced TM-Sidhi (morning and evening)

I upped the workout reps today. Feeling good. Cheers!

Excellent! I appreciate that you're humble with your reps and undercount them. Unnecessary, but it shows you're not inflating anything.

Well, when I see others doing some real heavy lifting I am impressed. I use light dumbells (10 lbs X2) and kettleballs (15 lbs X 2) so I feel that is 1/2 of what most others are doing. I am not looking to bulk up. More to be toned and maintain some strength and endurance.

One other thing to do - I hold the weights at my side inbetween exercises - so I might be holding them for 10 minutes or more before putting them down for only a short time. I find this really works out my arms.

Daily Challenge Complete - 294 reps

  • Incline Barbell Press - 3x12
  • Flat Bench Dumbell Fly - 3x12
  • Bench Press - 3x7
  • Pec Deck - 3x12
  • Seated Calf Raises - 3x15
  • Standing Calf Raises - 3x15
  • Crunches - 3x12
  • Hanging Leg Raises - 3x12
  • Planks - 3x30 sec.

It's been a couple of days since I was in the gym. Two days ago I just took the day off completely... recovery consisted of using a Compex and soaking in a hot-tub. Yesterday I was working through some personal issues and was in a pretty bad place and just couldn't bring myself to get out amongst society. I woke up feeling better today though and grinded it out.

Hope your music festival was everything you hoped for!

Welcome back. I had a rough couple of days myself, but doing the reps before bed (I'm random like that) gave me a good note to end each day on. Good job getting back in gear.

Daily Challenge Completed 270 reps

Tricep Extensions - 10 reps
Bicep Curls - 10 reps
Mid Rows - 10 reps
Low Row - 10 reps
Single Arm Bicep Curl - 20 reps (10 Each Arm)

Chest Press - 10 reps
Single Arm Row with Rotation - 20 reps (10 Each Arm)
Squat with High Row - 10 reps
Y Pulls - 10 reps
I Pulls - 10 reps

Assisted Pull up Machine
Wide Grip Pull ups - 10 reps
Close/neutral Grip Chin ups - 10 reps
Tricep Dips - 10 reps

30 minutes cardio on Elliptical AMT

Wrote a post in my blog with more details as well! Great job everyone!!💪😎🔥

Huge day! Feel free to link your posts here with your summary. I've heard of a flying squirrel, but am not going to look it up to keep my imagination at work.

Challenge Completed - 269 reps

100 pushups (10x10 in 12 minutes using pushup bars)

pullups: 12, 9, 8 -> 29 reps
chinups: 12, 9, 8 -> 29 reps
tandem grip pullups: 10, 8, 9, 7 -> 34 reps
wide grip chinnups: 7, 6, 6 -> 19 reps
neutral grip pullups: 8, 7, 7 -> 22 reps

shoulder press - 22.5 lbs
10 front raises (warmup)
11, 8, 7 -> 10 + 26 = 36 reps

Any weights on those pull reps or only using your body weight? I miss my pull-up days. My back was so strong then.

No they were all just bodyweight reps. From all the pullups, I have made more progress in making my lats and forearms bigger and stronger as opposed to my upper back.

When it's warmer, a mandatory pull-up video at Muscle Beach has been requested...

I do plan on filming once I start getting closer to my pullup and pushup goals for the year.

Yo yo yo. How's it been. I did an early morning session today, I've been a bit under the weather(very cold) so my joints were stiff, but I still managed;
100 bench press(its my favourite)
50 coils
50 french coils
50 sit ups
50push ups(at home before going to the gym)
50 shoulder press(my least favourite)
50 squats with 40kg
20 dead lift with 40 kg
10-15 minutes cycling
Then I joined the yoga people for like 5 minutes(its so girly)lol

Ps: I also jogged to and from the gym. Probably 15 minutes cummulative

Shoulder presses are the best. Come on!! Between the 15 mins cycling and 15 mins jogging, that'll be 100 reps. If you could try to sum up everything, it'd be appreciated to save me grinding it out on a calculator. Nice work on a big rep day of 520 reps!

Haha. Yeah and big days are usually followed by light training the next day, didn't go to the gym so it was all body exercise.
Challenge completed for Friday: 250reps
100 push ups(20 x 5)
100 situps
50squats
Then I ran off to work cos I was already late 😌

Nice - exercise is more important than work. Smart man. I'll add this to the newest post for you.

Challenge Completed - 500 reps

Lol @cygon I was thinking the same thing ;)
