Hola a todos, como bien les vine comentando referente al frio y en base eso lo mejor es para estos casos degustar una comida con bastante calorias como o cuando preparamos mondongo a la española, el cual es especial para estas ocaciones, por el frio digo, ademas porque dicha comida es muy facil de prepararla, por supuesto siemre y cuando lo hagamos con amor, para preparar dicha comida, utilizaremos, mondongo, porotos blancos, papa, zanahoria, salsa de tomate, chorizo colorado, cebolla, panceta ahumada, morron, sal a gusto y condimentos varios.

Cuando tengo las papas preparadas, o sea peladas y cortadas, coloco una olla en la hornalla de la cocina, a la que l agrego un poco de aceite luego cebolla cortada en julianas y sal a gusto.

Lo que sigue seria el condimento principal de esta comida, el mondongo, el cual estubo hirviendo por 3 horas, para que de esa manera el mismo quedara bien blando, una ves que lo quite de la olla, lo deje que se enfrie un poco para despues de eso cortarlo en tiras como se ve en la foto.

Luego de cortar el mismo, lo agregue en la olla, pero antes fue la zanahoria, el morron, la carne ahumada, para despues revolver bien todo, tape dicha olla y deje que se cocinara.

Bueno para ser creible, que mejor que quitarme una foto, por supusto en la cocina y como dije que mejor cuando hace frio, por eso bien abrigado para estos casos y cocinando esta exquisita comida.

Despues de tener todo lo antes mencionado, le agregue un poco mas de agua y despues el poroto, el cual lo tenia en agua desde el dia anterior, para que de esa manera salga mas blando.

Asi que luego del poroto mescle muy bien todo, le agregue un poco mas de agua, un poco de semilla de chia y ajo en polvo para que tenga mas sabor todo esto.

Volvi a mesclar todo, luego agregue la salsa de tomate, porsupuesto la misma es comprada, la que viene en botella, es la que mas me agrada para cocinar, despues de esto deje que se cocinara bien.

Lo siguiente es preparar el arroz, como lo pueden ver es una manera diferente, lo cocine en una sarten, a la que le agregue un poco de aceite, unos dientes de ajo, lo cual deje que se tostara un poco, despues fui agregando el arroz lentamente mientras revolvia.

Hasta que se secara el agua, para eso entonces ya estaria cocinado el arroz, como se puede ver en la foto, con el sajo que le agregue y un poco de sal a gusto quedo excelente.

De esta manera por hoy una comida para el almuerzo superdeliciosa, ademas de eso es excelente para los dias de frios.

Hello everyone, as I have been telling you about the cold weather and based on that, the best thing to do in these cases is to taste a meal with enough calories as when we prepare Spanish style tripe, which is special for these occasions, because of the cold I mean, also because this meal is very easy to prepare, of course as long as we do it with love, to prepare this meal, we will use, tripe, white beans, potatoes, carrots, tomato sauce, red chorizo, onion, smoked bacon, morron, salt to taste and various seasonings.

When I have the potatoes ready, that is to say, peeled and cut, I put a pot on the stove, to which I add a little oil, then onion cut in julienne strips and salt to taste.

What follows would be the main condiment of this meal, the tripe, which was boiling for 3 hours, so that in this way the same was very soft, once you remove it from the pot, let it cool a little and after that cut it into strips as shown in the photo.

After cutting it, I added it in the pot, but first I added the carrot, the morron, the smoked meat, and then I stirred everything well, covered the pot and let it cook.

Well to be credible, what better than to take a picture of me, of course in the kitchen and as I said that it is better when it is cold, so well wrapped for these cases and cooking this exquisite food.

After having all the above mentioned, I added a little more water and then the bean, which I had it in water since the day before, so that it would come out softer.

So after the bean I mixed everything well, added a little more water, some chia seed and garlic powder to make it taste better.

I mixed everything again, then I added the tomato sauce, of course the same is bought, the one that comes in a bottle, it is the one I like the most for cooking, after that I let it cook well.

The next thing is to prepare the rice, as you can see it is a different way, I cook it in a pan, to which I add a little oil, some garlic cloves, which I let it toast a little, then I added the rice slowly while stirring.

Until the water was dry, by that time the rice would be cooked, as you can see in the photo, with the sajo that I added and a little salt to taste it was excellent.

This way for today a super delicious meal for lunch, besides that it is excellent for the cold days.

That looks delicious and the ingredients sound like a really tasty combination!

My gran used to make tripe and trotters and while many people absolutely hate it - I was young and had no idea what it was so I just ate it and I loved it!!!! So now, even though I know what it is, I still love it - though I have never made it myself. Is that something you know of too?

This is an interesting method for cooking the rice - very different, but probably much more flavourful than just boiling it in water.

Here in South Africa we make a pot meal called "potjie" which is essentially a stew which is cooked over an open fire in a cast iron pot... and with some of the very traditional recipes, you actually cook all the meat and veg and then you add the rice on the top and it just cooks in the steam and heat of the pot itself - so also gets all the flavours of the other ingredients in the pot which is very yummy!
