My new favorite cookbook

My husband is a proud carnivor. Meat, meat and more meat. Imagine his disappointment when I excitedly open my amazon package and pull out a vegetarian cookbook. He actually said, "Honey, I married you for better or for worse, and this is pretty worse!" So let's just say I had a lot of pressure riding on the success of the first few recipes I tried. I carefully selected ones that I thought might win him over, beginning with fresh squeezed margaritas! Those were a hit. Then I tried the coconut fried rice with edamame. Again, another hit! Then I tried the blueberry muffins made with whole wheat flour. Again another hit! Recently I made huevos rancheros, which I think became a new family favorite! Thank you Kate for publishing Love Real Food! Although I doubt the carnivores around here will ditch the meat, at least I am happily adding in more fresh fruits and veggies, wholesome ingredients and healthier options into my family's diet. Two thumbs up for this cookbook!
