My husband loves coffee liqueur but I found it tasted really chemically and synthetic so it became a project to make our own. I think it's totally worth it. I added make syrup instead of sugar to the last batch, I am eager to see how this works out. I am not a fan of using sugar and maple syrup is a much healthier choice. Hopefully the flavour is not too strong. Guess well know in four weeks!
Oooh, I bet the maple syrup adds a nice flavor, and I agree on it being a preferable option to sugar. I am getting better about making more and more things at home, and I haven't been disappointed yet! It may take a little time, but totally worth it for the quality of the outcome!
oh I completely agree. It's been so worthwhile and each new project teaches me so much about food, nutrition and flavour.
