Time flies when you are having fun, we agree and we would add that fun comes in different shapes and sizes for different people but what seems to be the common theme for the most of us are games. We love them and we love when they are MMORPG. Too bad that there is not a MMORPG game connected and built on the blockchain. Oh wait, THERE IS!!!

Today we are happy to present you with an amazing project by @chibera, called Chibera Open World MMORPG It will be the first real MMORPG directly connected to the blockchain with features like a crypto connected auction house, customizable player, guild housing, and high fidelity graphics for up to 8K monitors. Wow, so many goodies that we don't know where to start. It is about a fantasy world that is interconnected with the real world through the blockchain and in a way, a beginning of a brand new era.

Chibera hopes to add a new portal of interaction for Steem that will allow the creation of a bridge between a market that has millions to spend but nothing to really spend it on other than cashing out. People will be able to share clips of their gameplay and screenshots directly to the Steem blockchain which will bring new users to the platform. Users will be able to use the auction house system to sell items, usernames and a large number of items and there are plans to make Chibera available for XBOX, PlayStation, PC, MAC, LINUX, MOBILE etc.

Chibera will give you the chance to experience its world in two distinct ways. You may choose to play as an adventurer, seeking fame, glory and wealth by venturing into dungeons with your party to slay mythical and dangerous beasts and provide your faction with much-needed resources while acquiring gear to become stronger in the process. The other way is choosing to fight against other players. You may join the never-ending battle for resources as a member of one of the factions and kill, steal and do whatever is necessary to ensure your factions victory in the short term. No matter what world you decide to fight in, whether it will be against dangerous monsters or against cunning players, you will always have the option to customize your character with a complex skill and talent tree - giving you the option to play exactly the character of your liking.

The game will have a Steem based in-game auction house that is connected directly to a blockchain. It will allow quick trades that will make you real money. You will be able to rent and sell your land to make a profit thanks to the amazing capabilities of the blockchain technology, and if you own some land, you can build on it and create a base of operations but also forge powerful items as a blacksmith or brew powerful potions. All of that can later be used by your friends. For a fee. You can hop on mounts to travel or if you prefer to stay in one place, just breed them and sell them to hungry players. Chibera will allow you to play and earn money by doing it.

An amazing and gorgeous world will be created but also a login system, an auction house system and other tools completely free of charge so you can easily connect your projects to Steem as well using Unity3d and Unreal Engine 4! Project owners have already done a huge amount of work and put in some long hours to bring us more than 50 updates and news so be sure to check them out and look at all that amazing progress.
