Back On Track - Preparing Your Body To Exercise
Now is the time for you to begin to learn how to exercise properly.
We were made to move, and when we don't, our quality of life is significantly lowered, whether it's by excessive weight gain, by the loss of bone mineral, by the loss of muscle. or through one of the many hypokinetic diseases that range from a headache to heart disease. So in addition to increasing your daily activity by hiding the remote control, taking long walks after dinner and using the stairs instead of the elevator.
It's time to give up the excuses and lace up your sneakers!
Prepare yourself for the exercise. You also have to prepare for the appropriate clothing and gear. Prepare on what kind of clothes you have to waear or what king of shoes is appropriate to the activity you are going to do.If you are fully prepared for exercise, it's a big help to build your confidence.
Whether you are just beginner or few months or years ahead on a fitness program, you have to be aware that there are some important moves or steps to follow to do during and after exercises. It should be done to protect ourselves from physical distress. and other injuries.
And before you start any fitness activity, you have to keep in mind that it is important to consult a healthcare provider or health trainer to be sure that you are in good condition to start an exercise.
If you have been inactive for quite a long time, like, over 6 months, it is advisable for anybody to seek advice from a medical professional before you jump onto the track and start running, Especially if you have any problem or had any problems with cardiovascular, muscular or your weigh.
What is Fitness?
This seems to be like a straightforward question, but the truth is it's not. There are really different types of fitness.
Functional or Flexibility fitness - refers to your ability to safely and effectively perform routine movements and exercise. Later on, in Phase 1, we are going to emphasize your functional fitness, using exercises that will improve your flexibility, balance, and coordination, as well as the muscular strength and endurance of your abdomen, your back, the stabilizing muscles of your shoulders, and your lower legs. Flexibility exercises can help you address muscle imbalances and improve your range of motion.
Cardiovascular fitness- refers to the ability of your heart, lungs, and arteries to deliver oxygen( which is carries in your blood)to working muscles and your muscles' ability to use that oxygen to perform aerobic work over a particular period of time. Your cardiovascular fitness is improved primarily through aerobic exercises. Cardio activities can help boost your heart rate and put you in the right frame of mind for exercising. We are going to emphasize the improvement of your cardiovascular fitness starting Phase @ of this program.
Then there's the Muscular fitness - Your muscle fitness refers to your muscular strength, muscular power and muscular endurance. These are all important qualities that will be enhanced for the most part through the use of strength, of weight, training exercises. Your muscular witness will be emphasized in later exercises.
There are certain individuals who possess high levels of all three types of fitness, and we can call them "officially fit". However, there are many people who have ignored all three areas of fitness and are, therefore, relatively unfit, But it is also possible to be relatively fit in one or two areas of fitness and still be unfit for one or two of the others, In fact, among many peopled who exercise that's exactly the case. Typically people do what's easiest for them or what's they are already good at --- and that all they do. This means that they are ignoring the types of exercise that will do them the most amount of good. In fact, there's an old rule in the gym that states:
Each of these areas of fitness represents an important piece in overall fitness and weight loss puzzle, and you'll perform an exercise that is specific to each of these three areas of fitness during the course of your fitness program.
This program addresses each of these three areas of fitness just as it does everything else --- progressively. This means that you will emphasize different elements of fitness when you are ready and when they will have the greatest overall positive effect for you. Exercise selection should vary between individuals, based on ability and known movement imbalances, and progress as you get better at your workout.
While both your cardiovascular fitness and your muscular fitness have a greater overall effect on your metabolism, a sufficient level of functional fitness needs to be achieved before you effectively train the other two areas.
I am ready @lisaocampo, let's do this! (fingers crossed).
Oken then , get ready and we are about to move.

I like the brevity of your article but I think you covered everything well. I read your three fitness definitions, and I think I would call myself "functionally fit." I truly believe too that everyone will be happier and healthier if they exercise, that's a fact and not a theory.
Glad to find someone else on Steemit helping grow the fitness community as well! I can't believe I haven't heard of you yet!
Thanks for reading my post and my previous posts. Nice to know that you belong to those "functionally fit" people.

By exercising, we can eliminate fat, stress and even bad times. It should be noted that you must do a preheat to avoid any type of injury or discomfort. You are right, many people perform exercises because of their preferences or because they are easier, which does not imply that it is the most appropriate.
