i was thinking about the same thing... But muscle is weight :) nonetheless you have to work out for muscle growth or else protein wont do much. As a matter of fact. If you think about it, that protein burns more calories then it provides you might even lose weight if you consume a lot of protein.
"Try to eat some protein foods as well. We know protein helps in leaning but protein also helps in gaining weight as well if combined with good foods.
Like said above i dont see how protein will gain weight if you dont add work outs. As far i understood our bodies doesn;t store (extra) proteine.
