Wouldn’t it be fun to drive one of these machines? This is what the Farm yard looked like back in the early 1900’s. Life was different back then. No iPhones, no Internet, no Amazon, no X box...

~ a Sony A7R III and Zeiss 55mm lens was used. ~

Would like to race this see who wins.

Incredibly, a very historic museum and its contents with rare antiques

Having grown up on a ranch and a big farm at age 16, these tractors bring back memories of many hot weather driving in Nebraska for 8 hours a day and 7 days a week. Notice the handcrank start tractor. My neighbor actually had an older John Deere hand crank start abled.

I wonder how hard it would be to turn that crank?

Depends on the size of the motor. Very dangerous since you could get your arm torn off if you dont pull back on the handle to disengage after the motor start to release from the slot that hold the handle in to be able to crank.

Definitely, to really appreciate and love our `peoples, it is necessary to know their history and the relation they had with our grandparents, parents, family in general; We certainly did not have iPhones, Internet, Amazon, not X box ... but we had, perhaps, the most important thing in our lives that is the direct and effective relationship with our relatives because we did not have the interruptions and distances that mark all the artifacts of modern technology. I imagine your people gathered, sitting in front of their houses, in the evening hours, sharing a nice conversation and probably having a good coffee. It's nice to remember ... Greetings @daveks.

Indeed, and well said!
Sometimes I think life may have been better back then.

Yes, I definitely think it had its advantages, especially family tranquility.
