First flight on 14 Oct 1938, the radial engine of a P 38A Hawk was replaced
with an Allison V-1710 – 19 air-cooled in-line engine of 1,040 Hp

The Warhawk made its name in China with the American Volunteer Group
“ The Flying Tigers” where they began operations against the Japanese in late 1941.

The P 40 D had an engine change to the Allison V – 1710- 30,
the fuselage guns removed and the wing guns changed to .5 in,

These were known as “ Kittyhawk 1s”,
the E used a Roll Royce Merlin 28 engine to achieve a top speed of 373 MPH [600 KPH]

Thank you again Palask01, I am glad you are enjoying the trip.

Beep! Beep! @shadow3scalpel at your service. I am here to assist all military members on Steemit. This HumVee will be scouting posts from a list of Veterans that is maintained by @chairborne. If you are a Veteran and new to Steemit, and you have questions or want to join the Veterans community, reply to this comment. We got your six, unless you are in the rear with the gear. Ooh-Rah!

Well done, for a new bot you are doing well.
by next year you will have done so many Steemversaries that you will be worn out,
but you will have brought joy to very many on the way.
Have you thought of doing a post as well as replies?

Your post is very nice my friend :)

I really appreciate your post, keep trying and be the best :) @len.george

Thank you for your vote and comment.
Be careful asking for an upvote back, most will consider that as spam and downvote [flag] you which will affect your reputation, this will make it a lot harder to get going.
Keep going, work hard on your posts, and enjoy the trip.

Helloo @len.george
Me, @menulissejarah #menulissejarah
I see articles and photos on your post, have a historical and cultural value of an area. This post is certainly very interesting to add insight in the field of history.
If you do not mind, I will resteem this post in my account. I will wait for this reply from you. thanks.

Thank you for your kind reply.
feel free to resteem any of my posts that you like.
The historical part is due to my age,

Glad to be able to share your understanding of history with you. Hopefully your post can be useful for me and others too. @len.george

At least my version of history is out there for all to read and comment on.
