What do you need for painting a room

 

Often we do not need any special training or been qualified for doing some handy work. Much could be done by ourselves if we like, there are two benefits:

• you can make your room to look as you want, because only you know how it should be and none of the workers can make it as you wish

• when we see the result of our own work then despite of being tired we feel very satisfied and can say: WOW, is that really done by myself?

Another positive side is of course, it is financially better for your budget, you will pay only for materials and do not need to pay for people or company for their working hours.

 

What you need for painting of a room?

So, our second room was a little dining room with an open kitchen. We wanted only to paint walls and ceiling, so what we need, we bought a paint and some brushes.

We decided to take soft white with a bit of beige, that was a colour called "Cashmere".

For the protection of your furniture that you decide to leave in room, you will need a protective cover either clothes or film sheets and also, masking tape to fix the clothes over the furniture and carpet.

Usually this is something that needs to be done first, if everything is covered nicely in advance then later you do not need to stop during painting and do that, but also you do not need to clean everything afterwards.

Here how we did it:

 

 

Here is our terrace that we also used for the stuff from our room, we have hoover, our brushes and bucket for water for cleaning.

 

 

Here, is my start, first I painted the corners of our room, usually they are the places for dusts, so for that we used a special brush specially for corners, that will make the spread of colour equally on two side of roller and save your time for work.

The next is simple, you should just start painting walls, no rush so that colour lies nicely, once you finished walls then you can do the ceiling.

After first layer you can do the second layer but make sure that there are 2 hours between. We managed to finish during one day and were very satisfied.

 

 

Now after, everything is dried up we decided to move the furniture back in and everything looks cosy again.

 

 

Our lunch: self-made Pizza

 

During our painting time understandably we needed to have our lunch. We did not have much time for cooking and also we wanted some food that is quick in preparation, so then decision to do Pizza from all the food that we have at home.

What you need for your Pizza:

-flour 400 gand dry yeast 8 mg package

• salt, depends on your taste
• small amount of vegetable oil about 8 ml
• water about 200 ml

Mix everything and create an elastic dough:

 

 

The topping, I usually take very common:

• champignons , I used 200 g
• one onion
• 5 garlic gloves
• pickled cucumber 150 g
• Mozzarella cheese 250 g

Everything you need to cut in small pieces.

 

 

After you spread dough into a flat bread, you cover with tomato sauce, I use simple ketchup and spread the rest of vegetables on it.

Once it is ready, put Pizza in cooker w. 180C of fan oven for 15 min. Very quick and delicious, ready to eat.
