RE: Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W6 | Careful, Has your Steemit account been hacked?
A well structured and educative article from you dear friend. I commend your effort in sharing your views, experience, and guidance on this issue of security.
Steemit hacks and phishing links work by exploiting vulnerabilities in the system. They can be used to gain access to accounts, steal personal information, and manipulate transactions on the platform.
The most common form of Steemit hack is called a “phishing attack”. Where phishers will create malicious links, often disguised as legitimate ones, in order to trick users into entering their username and password.
Once the user has been tricked, their account is compromised and the hacker has access to all their data.
As you have rightly pointed out, we should avoiding using our keys on browsers, avoid clicking dubious links, and always power up our liquid STEEM.
Thanks for this wonderful guidance and support through your post, it would go a long way in saving many steemians. I would appreciate if you equally engage in mine.
