Welcome to the monthly edition of Solar Stats from New Zealand, the month of July 2024 was a carbon copy of July 2023 which was good to see.

For the most part we have had grey cloud and not a lot of Sunshine but we are in Winter, in a couple of months we will be heading towards Summer!

For July 2023 we were 35% self powered and we once again got 35% in July 2024, pleased to see that we were the same as last year.

Our house used 886 kWh in June 2024 and with July being a bit colder we used 920 kWh in July 2024, i may have been guilty of using the clothes dryer once or twice to dry towels.

We only generated 340 kWh for June 2024 and in July we did slightly better at 347 kWh, this number wills tart going up as we get rid of Winter - YAY!

This shows what the Powerwall did in July, the grey bars down the bottom show me charging the Powerwall from the Grid a couple of times as we were supposed to have storms.

609 kWh was pulled from the grid for June 2024 and we pulled a little more for July 2024

It was pleasing to see our Stats match last years and even though 35% self powered is not great its 35% better than 0%.
