A few of my dietary fiber sources and another photo of my favorite food to eat after my dialysis
I forgot the name of this leafy vegetable but the leaves are originally bigger than what it got now because the condition of the soil in our backyard is very poor and always washed out by rains.
Our heavily used Moringa Tree.
Slices of Apples if the is no Bananas to be had.
One small packet of Pineapple tidbits if there are no more fruits or vegetables to be had in my meals.
Another photo of the convenience store food I always like to eat after my dialysis sessions.
The importance of the inclusion of dietary fiber in my diet is an utmost importance because in my case I am very susceptible in developing bad cases of constipation as I use Calcium carbonate tablets as my usual Phosphate binder so that I can control my Phosphorus levels inside my body. A phosphate binder like Calcium carbonate prevents my gut to absorb phosphorus from the foods that I am consuming and drinks that I am drinking so that I will not cause my bone issue not to get worsened. I also had a lot of bouts with major constipation and that pushed me to consume more fiber considering that it is also healthy to do so for all of us including some animals because after all it prevents us to develop ailments regarding the health of our large intestines and also to ward off other intestinal discomfort to occur.
If there are no fiber to be had as a source for a meal, I would often use those conveniently packed Pineapple tidbits which is quite enough for me to have a serving of my needed fiber. Right now I am using Moringa capsules containing the Moringa powder which I bought about a couple of months ago and I found it difficult to consume via making s drink out of it and it really doesn't taste good because being a raw and dried-up leaves, it tastes like it, dried leaves and it makes me gag although when it goes down to my stomach it is all well. However, taking a recommended seven capsules of Moringa powder which is equivalent of a tablespoon in two divided does is much better because its doesn't cause me to experience watery stools compared to just drinking a moringa drink in one go I often consume two hours or more after eating my second and last meal of the day everyday.
The difference in my diet now is that it is more nutritious compared before because for one thing, the Moringa powder that I am consuming makes my meals to be more complete because Moringa leaves have a lot of nutrients which is making me more energetic and it is now my number one source of vitamins. The fact that I am consuming it raw is what makes it more beneficial for my health because the enzymes within it are intact compared to when it is consumed cooked. Now I am also taking eight capsules of it everyday in total, four capsules with my breakfast and four capsules with my second and final meal of every day. With these improvements which I had done for my diet I am already feeling its effects particularly with doubling my intake of my vitamin K2 MK-7, it alleviated more of my major bone pain if I will compare my condition a few months back. So I thank God because of these things and I hope that more of my health improvements happens because I need all of the best things for my body that I can achieve.
