I have a phobia now with gray skies as it always causes us troubles, inconveniences, and anxieties now so high
Aside from making me blue and gloomy, the gray skies always has its ominous notes for what would come-up next especially if I would confirm in the news on why the skies are gray today or why it is raining. So if I will learn that another high pressure is happening again beyonder, then I will start to worry again because it will just mean that we in this household will have to contend with floods particularly if the streets going to and from my dialysis clinic would be impassable. It is because my father will refrain from using the old car saying that it will not be able to wade across such road condition even though the flood water is just four inches high from the pavement, then it is a no-go for the car. Even when we use the AUV which is a version of SUV and has a high ground clearance, my father will still not use it in flooded roads so what more for an old Toyota Corolla car with shock an already worn and soft shock absorber because of its age and already needs some parts to be replaced.
The cost of a car is no joke these days because they are expensive and what I needed was a car with a higher ground clearance for the reason that the road situation here in my place will most possibly not going to change because we are already deeply affected by the climate change. It will be practical for me to buy a pickup truck rather than a Sedan which gets totally useless when it does flood because the rains now really pours a lot of water and it always causes streets to get submerged in flood waters. I am just frustrated that I cannot do anything immediately for my woes about my inconveniences and even threats to my life and well-being if it does flood around because it endangers me directly for the reason that I have to go for my regular dialysis session come rain or shine of it the weather is fine or calamitous, my dialysis should not be affected or else, it will mean me my life if not extra hardship to endure not to mention the lamentations of my parents when the in and out of this house gets submerged in flood each and everytime when a heavy downpour of rain will occur.
Although I am not that totally helpless to save our current situation regarding these new behavior of the weather especially when it get to rain, it has to take some more time before I can with the mercy of God to make a tangible difference to ease down our troubles and inconveniences by having a better home to live into and also if God wills it to acquire a reliable car to help us transport ourselves when the roads are high in flood waters because I have to factor in about having an emergency fund on the side before I take action if indeed I already have the funds for disposal in making a better safe ad secured home and a car that will be always ready come rain or shine regardless of its fuel consumption because what is important in that regard is for me to have a sure way of getting from point A to point B no matter on how the road conditions may present itself to me and all of these if god wills it.

It is sad to hear that someone needs dialysis but there is difficulty in commuting due to rain and flood waterlogging.
It's almost same all over the world due to climate change. Every where there is disproportionately unprecedented rain which causes somewhere flood and somewhere just opposite draught.
It's God's grace that you have alternative options. Wish your speedy recovery from the current situation.

It is impossible for me to use public transportation because of my problematic mobility issues and I will not have a peace of mind with this new weather system which had been altered for the worst because of the effects climate change which is why the rains and floods now are unusual which in own opinion will get to be more dangerous particularly here in our town which is a low-lying area and is known for being a catch basin of water coming from river systems of nearby provinces.
I hope that I will be able to buy a better car soon which has a higher ground clearance so that I will not have a problem anymore about going to and from the places that I or my parents want to go especially on my dialysis schedules even if it is flooding all over. Also I still have a problem of a better house elevation because we are getting flooded inside this house if rains would come down pouring in a mater of hours because my parents are aging and I do not want them to get burdened of clearing the floor of flood water because the water is dirty and the floor gets slippery.

I admirer how you always take the time to reply and engage.
By now I read several of your comments and replies and what hurts me most is not how you have to deal with that many hardships but that your comments are barely read.
I hope something will change and you like many others will be able to connect for real. There are some more comments of you I hope to reply on soon. Is there a way to avoid the water flooding the floor? Gutters, the roof or a higher floor. Besides of the extra work it is bad for health if there is no dry and clean place.
I hope you can buy the car needed I know what a burden it is to be stuck in the mud and cut off from what we need. My longest time was 6+ weeks so I have always be prepared and if so the only way out is walking and with some luck we left the car 3 kilometers away from home behind.

Yeah, these days in our country full of bad roads and floods, a reliable pick up truck brand like Toyota, Honda or Isuzu is a desirable vehicle to own. Even if it is 2nd hand purchase, it still is a good investment.
