Well, this is indeed me.

It might come to some as a surprise that I am an introvert but believe me when I tell you that I was clever enough to accept it. I have no desire to force myself to become an extrovert to succeed in life.

Being an introvert is maybe what made me see the world in a total different light by thinking realistically. By dropping pessimism and optimism I see the world as it is. I see the difficulties of life as it is and I know how to address them step by step. For me, it is also setting achievable goals, and dreams that can be measured and finding a balance between being happy and unhappy.

I may not always be the life of the party, but hey, that's okay with me. I wouldn’t say I like having the attention on myself. It is like going to the movie house. Some of us like to sit in the front row and others in the last row. I prefer the latter. To sit and watch is often the better place to be and not the front row where you think you are going to see the movie first. Does this label me as being shy? Not at all! Does this label me as a party pooper? Why don’t you invite me and let’s see.

That brings me to being clever. We should all know by now that being clever isn't just about being book smart or having a high IQ. Oh no! This is all about what your teacher told you from a young age, to think out of the box. Something that so many are too scared to do. Or maybe they are just too lazy or careless to think for themselves. Let me leave you with a question today. What is the difference between clever, smart, and witty?

You know how they say confidence comes with time? This is absolutely true. There were times in my life when I doubted myself but as I moved on in years I realized that there is only one person to be trusted and that is myself. I have to put faith in what I believe I can accomplish and most importantly I had to put faith in my instincts. Those of you who have children will know all too well what this means. Being confident opened many doors in my life.

If you search Aunty Google for the meaning of prioritize you will find “organized, methodical, or efficient.” Oh yeah, this is me. I find confidence in knowing that I don’t do too badly prioritizing my thoughts, my tasks, and my time better than most, allowing me to make well-informed decisions. You should try it sometime. It does wonders for the soul when you prioritize things especially when you prioritize those thoughts.

Some might mistake my quiet manner as being standoffish or arrogant, but the truth is that I simply prefer to listen rather than constantly chime in with small talk, not to mention telling jokes. Anyway, I am one of those who never have jokes to tell because I cannot remember them. BUT, let’s not forget that “but.” Life as it is, is one serious ride, and if you don’t make a joke or two, I do feel sorry for you, as it is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride.

So yeah, you could say that when it comes to various situations, I tend to keep my mouth shut and focus on what truly matters to me. And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.
