I have another friend who went in hospital about a week ago because he just collapsed one day... he's coming home today, learning a "new life" after undiagnosed and untreated diabetes had gone untouched for 20 years.

Wow that is insane! Crazy really.

Our traumas are not trophies, they are simply pieces of the mosaic that makes us who we are.

You know... this is so TRUE!!!! And as for the "sharing" part... I was JUST this very second, saying to @jerrytsuseer that I am one of those "carry all your burdens by yourself" kinds of individuals... EXCEPT through my writing - in which I am overly expressive... it is the only way that I feel truly SAFE enough to express... and yes, it is incredibly healing!
