Is the Engagement Challenge still good?
This is a question that we must answer every week, well, each week brings different challenges, some communities promote good dynamics or topics with which we can develop good content, this will keep the minds of content creators busy.
Should it be kept in its current form?
I like the new approach that the Steemit team promotes, by asking communities to share, through their application, the topics they will address if they are selected for the contest challenge, that way we can know which are the most creative and originals that there may be contests during the month.
Should it be modified? / Or should it be abandoned?
My way of thinking is that if something works, then it shouldn't be removed, in which case it should be modified to make it fit. All communities promote contests, they just choose 7 for the challenge, which I don't see anything wrong with. Regarding the quality of the publications, this is somewhat ambiguous, there will always be participation with different quality, it is a matter for those responsible to select the best ones.
If the Engagement Challenge were to end, what should take its place?
From my experience, everything that is done will have users for and against, even more so if the dynamic that is promoted is supported by the votes of SC01 and 02. I can think of a way to promote content under a free scheme, that is, That is, outside the communities but depending on them, I will explain it to you below.
Each month interested communities must share at least 5 topics for the challenge, this will generate at least 40 topics to promote during the month, the Steemit team will select 6 or 7 topics each week, these will be developed under a free tag, for example, #scw1-write. The same Steemit team will select the moderators for each contest, as if it were a curation team, to moderate each entry for a given contest, this should change each week depending on the number of users (community moderators available), the moderators must present the winners of the contest after a discussion on discord.
Esto es interesante, amigo @adeljose. Tendríamos lo mejor de "ambos mundos", es decir, vincular iniciativas con etiquetas específicas, pero también dando libertad al autor para que se ubique desde dónde puede aportar algún escrito de calidad.

Uno de los reto de interacción donde mas me divertí fue en los de la comunidad de Steemit Iron Chef, porque proponían que el usuario realizará recetas sobre un tema específico o con un ingrediente específico
Es una buena iniciativa trabajar por etiquetas, por lo que dijo gorilla del SEO, pero eso no haría que el número de publicaciones dentro de las comunidades disminuya? Vale la pena correr el riesgo?

Desde mi punto de vista, la mayoría de los concursos han sido libres, las preguntas "en muchos casos" solo han sido de referencia para facilitar el desarrollo del contenido.
Trabajar por etiquetas no evita que publiquemos en una comunidad, ya que el usuario podría publicar su participación en la comunidad de su preferencia, y los moderadores deberán regirse por las etiquetas.
Por otro lado, las etiquetas no son la causa de que muchos contenidos no aparezcan en las primeras páginas de Google u otro buscador, de lo contrario, saldrían contenidos de otras plataformas que son similares a Steemit y que manejan el sistema de etiquetas, más bien, creo que esto se debe a las mismas caracteristicas de seguridad y privacidad que brinda la Blockchain Steem.
Eso dependerá de los participantes, pero la descentralización de la participación, promoverá la interacción de los moderadores en las comunidades, incluso mayor revisión de los contenidos, ya que cada participación debe contar con 2 comentarios de moderación, el del equipo de la comunidad como tal, y el del equipo de moderación de cada concurso.
