I have been very involved for the past couple months, watching everything... close to full time. My observations have led me to little hope for Steem, although I wanted us to overtake and save the main chain. In my mind, Hive is now the "real Steem" and Steem is free to take its opposing path, wherever that may lead, if anywhere.

At the same time, it's difficult to instantly put down something I've worked to build on for several years, so I will be lingering on Steem at least for the next few months as I power down. I will continue to monitor how things progress and defer my final decisions, but my plan for now is to have my main activity take place on Hive, and I recommend the same to anyone, but that's just my take on it.
