Sorry for these difficult months. I'm reading with a translator, so not sure I totally followed, but the last entries seem more optimistic. If so, fingers crossed for continuing improvement.
Off-topic, but Grace Kelly was originally from Roxborough, Pennsylvania. I have a great-Aunt who was her neighbor. It's about an hour from me.
Thank you for your compassion. Yes, those were tough weeks. But there is indeed improvement in sight. In any case, no animal is acutely ill any more and the midges that transmit the virus should all be dead (we already have frost at night).
Ah, it's always exciting when you know someone who knows world-famous celebrities personally. Did you ever meet/see Grace Kelly at your great aunt's house? She really was a beautiful woman. I hope it doesn't reveal too much about my age if I think of Grace Kelly of all people when I see an exceptionally elegant “lady”... ;-)

No, I never saw her. I'm pretty sure she had moved away before I was born, but every time we visited my aunt, the family would make it a point to point out the house where Grace Kelly used to live. Sadly, I haven't been down that way in years, and I'm sure I couldn't find it on my own nowadays. But it's one of those childhood memories that sticks with me.
I wasn't thinking of your age, but it was definitely a surprise to see her name in a post about goats and sheep in Germany. I understood when you explained the reasoning, though. I guess that says something about my age, too😉.
I have now looked it up: when Gracia Patricia Grimaldi died, I was 12 years old... ;-)
But for a while I actually liked watching old movies with Grace Kelly and Gary Cooper (I liked him a lot, very handsome...).
Maybe Grace Kelly is also more present here because she married an Eoropean prince ages ago. The tabloids regularly report(ed) on the royal family in Monaco. The prince and an US actress?! Is that possible?!

I beat you by two years. I looked it up, too, and I was 14. I don't think I've ever seen any of her movies, though... or Gary Cooper, either. Maybe she was a role model for Meghan Markle. ;-)
