Greetings steemain.

I will say thanks to @cryptokannon and every other person her.

Alright here we go

When preparing egusi soup you have to first of all bring out your materials for the soup you are preparing, and check if everything is complete to save you time from running up and down looking for one thing or the other

Materials used in preparation of the soup

2 cups of Egusi (depending on the soup quantity)
Papper
Onion
Salt
Maggi
Oil
Iced fish
Smoked fish
Ogbono
Cra_fish
Meat
Okazi leaf
Perewinkle (if you care to add it is optional)

Soup ingredient like (lasor) and soup onga

Procedure

Wash your pot and don't put water inside yet

Then wash the fish and the meat

Then loosing the perewinkle and wash it also

Put okazi leave in the water and wash it

Also don't forget to wash the smoked fish

Then pour them inside pot and don't still put water and then put two sarchet of papper and 3 cubes of maggi and half spoon of salt for a start, cut onion and put, put the lasor and soup onga in the pot and set it on fire
Why you shouldn't put water yet is so that taste of the materials which you are using will come out and give you the taste which you want so that the meat and the fish will soak in the taste

Then allow it to boil for like 3 to 4 minutes because it
will bring out a little water as you are boiling it

Then after 3 to 4 minutes you can now add a short glass of water ...still in the process of pre_boiling,
then allow it to boil for 5 complete minutes be accurate with time so the fishes won't pieces

Am done with the boiling

Remove some fishes and keep so as you are cooking it won't pieces and not all but remember you will add it later when the food is almost done, that's why I said you need to pre_boil it so it will have a nice taste

IMG_20210405_200402_4.jpg

Then after pre_boiling

I added five extra short glass of water and a quarter of spoon of salt again because I found out that the half spoon I added did not give me what I want, am being careful so that the soup won't be salty

Then add a little oil and allow it to boil for sometime.

The next on the line is that I added the 2 cups of egusi, then instantly it will change colour because of the egusi and the oil added

IMG_20210405_190712_4.jpg

I did not turn it, I allowed it to boil for some while

IMG_20210405_200738_6.jpg

Then as I opened the pot I turned it before adding anything else

Then as it's boiling and after I turned it I added ogbono

IMG_20210405_201651_9.jpg

The essence of me putting this ogbono is because I want the soup to draw a little

IMG_20210405_200422_1.jpg

I Allowed it to boil at least 7 minutes so that the egusi and the ogbono could mix well

Then after boiling I added the fish which I removed

Then lastly I added the okazi leaf

As I was adding it I was sprinkling it all over the soup so it won't stay one side and it will now be hard for me to turn it well because the soup is very thick

Then I allowed it to boil for good 3 minutes and then I brought it down because the soup is ready

This is how I prepared egwisi soup

Then i prepared garri which I used In enjoying the soup made by me
