It has been two months since I declared the new SteemPay would come.

I am happy to inform that the new SteemPay service will be available soon on the following site:

The previous SteemPay developed by @asbear was great and very convenient.

We will have a new Steem Payment app developed by @etainclub, one of witnesses.

SoodalPay

The new payment service has a mascot which is an otter, which is pronounced as [Soodal]. That's why this service is named as SoodalPay.

An otter will be used throughout the app.

There are a couple of improvements compared to the previous one.

Escrow

The big difference is that SoodalPay will enable the escrow feature which is built in Steem blockchain, which is a kind of a smart contract for the escrow.

So it can be used for online transactions too.

There is another big thing with the escrow feature. Who can be an escrow agent? I intended a big picture on this question. A witness who runs a witness node can become an agent with approval. Most of low-rank witnesses are in trouble with running the nodes. By escrowing a transaction an agent gets the fee.

An agent can freely set the fee, which will result in a competitions among agents.

I think this escrow system will make the Steem blockchain much more stable.

The escrow feature has not been fully implemented. It is coming soon.

Invoice Methods

SoodalPay supports several methods to get the invoice.

One noticeable difference is to use Steem memo to pass the invoice.

Steem Post

An item can be a steem post. If you want to advertise your product, a steem post is a good option!. Users can ask questions and leave comments on the product.

With this, a seller can provide several customer benefits such as price discount.

In-app Store

So in-app store is provided.

Payment

The payment service should be safe and easy to find the error! So SoodalPay adopts a step-by-step approach.

Here a buyer can easily notice the payment is by escrow.
