A FEW CRYPTOCURRENCY INVESTMENT SIGNALS, HELPFUL FOR NEWBIES.

in Project HOPE3 years ago

At some point after holding crypto tokens for some time we will need to trade it in order to make profits from it and this is actually one of the most confusing moments of being a cryptocurrency investor, we might sell this minute and there comes a serious pump in the market or hold this minute and there comes a serious dump in the market so the prediction about the perfect time to sell off our cryptocurrency investments is usually a very difficult thing to do.

Always buy low and sell high.

A lot of new investors on cryptocurrency space usually make the mistake of buying a coin when the hype is high, the best time to buy a coin or make investment decision is when the market is low and not when the market is high.

Split your investment time.

The market is extremely volatile and we cannot ascertain when the market will give us a red or green signal, so I learnt this from a friend and I think it really does work. He has an idea of constantly splitting his investment funds , for example if he has $500 to invest and he has chosen a particular token, he will split the funds and make sure that he is buying at different times and I guess this is a good way to have risks reduced.

Do not invest in a token because of its cheap rate.

I have heard some people mention before that they will purchase a cheap token and then watch it grow until it hits the mark of bitcoin, while investing in cryptocurrency it is very important to consider the market cap and not just the rate of the token.

Do not be quick to sell your loss.

Although with some cryptocurrency tokens it might go so deep that there is total loss completely but with some other tokens they may as well rise even after they may have dumped. People who are new to cryptocurrency investment are usually very fast to sell their loss because they are scared of losing out but right after the sales have been made, there might also be a spike in price it all boils down to being able to study and understand a project before an investment is being made.

It is better to be a long term investor,

Being a long term investor will save you from a lot of pressure, holding a token for a short term only to sell when the price is good may get you so uncomfortable and pressured but when it is being held for a long term it is actually more relaxing and future focused.

Please note that I am not an expert neither am I a financial advisor so please do your own research and follow through on what seem right by you.

Hello @gbenga
Investments are complicated, more so when it comes to cryptos, because of their high volatility. I think one must be very clear that if you are selling at a higher price than it was bought and that is profit, regardless of whether it then rises even more in price, because often by trying to want more, ends up.uno perdoendo.

Thank you for the feed back @josevas, the main aim of investment is to gain profit but sometimes greed kills us and makes us loose out on all the funds.

Hello @gbenga.

Your tips are very useful for investing in cryptocurrencies, I think when you are young in this crypto world you make a lot of mistakes, but as the saying goes from mistakes you also learn from them.

Greetings and thanks for your valuable contribution.

Yes friend mistakes are inevitable as a new comer but the most important thing is to keep learning.

Hey prof @gbenga.

I submitted my homework for week 4. And you rated my work with 5 points. And my post is not paid out and @steemcurator02 didn't curate my post. So is there any problem or post with 5 points will not be curated by steemcurator02. Can you please tell me. So that I will keep this in my mind next time.

I learned this by losing unfortunately, of course my capital was not so big and it took me to recover, I think I was working in me the fear factor, because I managed anxiety to see that the numbers went down and sold .... then caused me anxiety to see how it went up and bought, thus committing a serious mistake. Greetings and thanks for this information.
