Curation on Steem: Tips for users and support for Ukrainian users

Hello dear Steemians

 

Today I wanted to give you a bit of inside view and impression of being a part of Steemcurator Teams. It is a second time in this months and there are some tips that I wanted to share with users so that everyone has equal chances to be curated because many may know but there will be always people who do not know that.

1. Voting CSI should be above 5

While voting the users Voting CSI is one of the feature that Curators need to pay attention. That usually gives an idea about the user and his attitude.

If you are upvoting many different accounts and also if you are commenting a lot that will make your CSI to go up. As an example I will take a new user, a professional Artist from Tel-Aviv @ranartblog:
 

 
Another example of user @apnigrich, whose blog I love to visit, because of the stories from his village but also due to beautiful photography, especially the cute little birds at the feeding station. He is in #club100, so Powering up everyhting, which is great but today when I looked at the CSI it was only 1,2. So @apnigrich sorry was not able to include you today in Curation, please vote more and increase the CSI.
 

 

There are many users who Powering up and entitled for the rules of the #clubs but unfortunately, due to low CSI I was not able to curate them.
 

2. Power Up

 
The other important rule is Power up, even if you do 50% of it then it is fine, that will let us to include many of you. Some of you have Steem or SBD in saving without movement, that is also something that we, Curators can’t support.
 

3. Support of Ukrainia users on Steem

 

Here I wanted to get an opinion of @steemcurator01, because there are few things we need to clarify.

We all know that there is still ongoing War in Ukraine, the people who are still there living in poor condition, there is no work and sometimes there is no food.

Some of Ukrainian who are refugees in other countries, they have no work and of course, they have no financial support.

The Ukrainian users on Steemit are very active, they are still posting about their life, posting diary games and the Admin of “Ukraine on Steem” organising the contests trying to support the users.

While looking through the posts that I came across today I did not see many with the support of SCXX accounts. I believe the reason might be because the users often withdraw the Steem and also many of them have low CSI. In my opinion:

• If we want to support those people who are the victims of war
• if we want to help them, so that they get some Steem that they could use for their live in such hard time

We should ignore the rules of clubs and Voting CSI.

Because I have a feeling that although the Ukrainian users are on Steemit, they are completely separated from the rest. Would be good if SteemcuratorsXX team users, we have 7x6= 42 curators will visit Ukrainian team at least one account a day.

I would be grateful for the feedback, because it is quite important to clarify this so that the Ukranian users on Steemit are supported appropriately.
