Homework: Drawing like a pro-12 w. @jorgevandeperre
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today finally I want to present you my homework that I delivered with delay. I am sorry, teacher Jorge (I actually feel myself like in a school :)
Anyway, I already mentioned to Jorge that I really enjoyed reading and watching videos and also how Jorge went through the @josevas217. While reading I immediately noticed that those areas are also my area of weaknesses.
Nevertheless I want to present you my, I di not do many steps because I was busy with hatching. This is my favourite part, in my opinion that gives an object its three- dimensional appearance.
The area that I found difficult to me:
- like same like @josevas217 I was struggling to draw a straight horizon line, I do not know if it is visible that I tried few times I decided not to use eraser this time
- I used pencil HB hardness but for shading I used 2B to show the contrast. What do you think Jorge is it OK?
- Also, while doing shadow I thought to leave a little fine white of paper so that the shape of object and shadow not merging together.
- I used different direction of hatching for different parts of objects.
- I struggled a bit with handles because did not know how to make them look 3D
- At the end I just played with horizon using hills and ruin just to hide my not perfect horizon line :)
I really enjoyed it and will continue doing the Homework’s. If you also want to try Drawing classes with Professional Artist please visit @jorgevandeperre Step by Step tutorials.

Hi @stef1
Good job presenting. The truth is that it seems to be a simple drawing, easy to do, and it is not. It has its details, especially with the creation of perspectives in the images. But, the recommendations that the teacher left me in the comments made me see it differently, and I think that's what it's all about, to improve little by little.
Greetings, have a nice week.
I agree I also thought that it will be easy but there are many little details that one have to pay attention to. But I really enjoyed it :)
good work! I think you did very well... thank you for sharing this!
Thank you Romanie, it was enjoyable to get back to basic skills, that we often forget, like Jorge says we need to practice our hands and body to draw, so will try to do :)
You did very well @stef1
Keep it up. I enjoy your art.
Thank you, yes, will try to keep regular exercising :)
Better late than never, good job!
Cheers
Agree, it should not be an excuse :)
