Little Seagull guest visit for breakfast
Today I wanted to share with you photographs of our new little guest, it is a baby Seagull. It was few months ago when we noticed a little baby seagull on rain gutter, it seems that it is fallen down from the nest that was on chimney but luckily it was not landed on ground and managed to find a place on rain gutter.
Actually we were pessimistic that this little chick survived because it was very small and parents seagulls did their job very well for the last two months that the chick then managed safely land on ground.
We only noticed that it was walking on our driveway, maybe because our house was its house for the such a long time, he thinks that this is his place.
These are the photos couple of weeks apart and you also can see that the bird is grown up and can fly better. Despite of that while during the day it spends its day somewhere but in the evening it returns and usually likes to walk on our little side wall.
Today during breakfast we have heard that someone was knocking on the window in the kitchen, we were surprised when we saw that our little friend was on windowsill and was knocking in order to get some attention.
That was cute that I immediately made couple of pictures and we gave his a bit of bread crumbles. After his little breakfast he flew away. Who know if he will return, but we will not be sad it is a big boy now and can easily survive, but it was a nice to have his visit today. Hope you also will love our little guest.

Da hast du recht, das ist schon sehr schön….ABER … nicht zu vergessen ist die ganze Arbeit die in so einem Haus (200 Jahre und älter) steckt. Unser Haus hatte von Innen seinen ganzen Schwarm verloren ( dank der Vorbesitzer ). Wir versuchen das jetzt wieder zu ändern, aber das ist ein langer und mühsamer Weg.👷♀️🔨😮
Ja das kenne ich , Menschen ohne Sinne für ein altes Bauwerk oder weil sie es einfach für nicht so wichtig halten können viel Schaden machen , statistisch oder für die Augen 👀

Ok - with that out of the way, lol! - I am fascinated that you said that was a seagull - I don't know if I am just dumb to the fact that you get different kinds of seagulls, but ours... here in SA, look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! They look like this:

Hi Jaynie, yes, the little one is really cute, I am glad that it survived because it was so little and was not able to fly when it landed in rain gutter. This is how they look like when adult:
They are bigger and stronger and have yellow beak.
Thank you for lovely words about our house, I also love it, there is so much beauty, but a lot inside, its old features by now were removed so we are trying to restore and make it again look like in old style :)
