Egg Bread Recipe 🍞🥚 Let's Evaluate Stale Bread 👩‍🍳

Hello.

A lot of bread around the world is thrown away because it goes stale. This is not welcomed by many people in my country because it is believed to be a sin to throw away the bread. It also makes me sad that food-type things are wasted and thrown away. My mother has always evaluated stale bread since I was a child. Sometimes she throws stale bread in the oven for us to add to soups and she gets a crusty bread. Sometimes she makes toast for us in the toaster. But my favorite is always the egg recipe. Whenever there is stale bread at home, we always ask him to make egg bread. I remember my childhood every time I eat it. I've always loved special flavors that remind me of the old days. We love that this bread is consumed with cheese, especially for breakfast. Today I come to you with this practical recipe. Again, I prepared the steps in detail. If you want, let's move on to the making of this recipe I mentioned.

Materials Needed

  • Stale Bread
  • 4 Eggs (can be increased or decreased depending on the amount of bread)
  • Spices (salt, pepper, paprika)
  • 8 gr Flour

Preparation Phase

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except bread until homogeneous. I added some cheese pieces at the last moment. You can also add spices or cheese varieties according to your taste. Sometimes we even add dill and parsley. It becomes much tastier with greens. I didn't have any fresh green vegetables at home, so I just added cheese.

The Cooking Phase

I added some olive oil to a large skillet. Don't add too much because we'll be refreshing it occasionally as the breads are browned. When the oil was hot, I dipped the sliced bread into the egg mixture. After making sure that the mixture was smeared all over the bread, I put it in the pan.

After I put the breads in the pan, all I have to do is check them. I turn and cook on both sides until I am sure that the egg sauce is cooked and browned. I lay a napkin on a clean plate and take the baked bread. The reason I added a napkin is to purify the excess oil on the bread. I usually place napkins on the plate for roasts. Thus, they are free from excess oil.

I did not forget to add a little oil from time to time when there is no oil left on the bottom of the pan. Breads may burn or become dry if left without oil.

If you want, you can make holes in the bread slices with forks and let them pass into the egg mixture. I do this from time to time, but when I don't, you see that a little bit of egg mixture reaches the intervals.

Of course, black tea is a must as a drink. We Turks love to consume tea. We definitely consume tea at breakfasts or in group chat moments. It would be more accurate to say that we are his addict. That is very delicious post! I saw once how Americans do their toast bread in the morning they also soak it in such egg spices mixture and fry. It was looking very delicious. I tried once with sandwich bread but probably it was too wet, so was still a bit wet inside. Looking at your photos it looks better. I might try it too.

The bread should not be fresh while making it. A little hardened bread by waiting a few days is more suitable. Also, it should not be kept in the sauce for a long time. This time the sauce is well absorbed and may remain a little wet. The most important part is the cooking part. I fire should be on the medium setting and the oil should be a little hot. If the bread still seems wet, you can apply a little pressure on it with a fork so that every area is cooked. 🌸
