SEC-S18W5 | Traveling and enjoying with kids

Travelling with children can be very enjoyable and fun on other hand it is stressful and you have to prepare everything not only for yourself but also for one more little person.

I must say when our child was young we did not travel too far like with plane. After one experience when our chld was 2,5 years old and the flight was only 50 min that normally supposed to be relaxing and quick but it was a little stressful moment.

There are two worse moments when you take plane:

• when the plane takes off, because that increases the pressure in eyes and of course, causing painful feeling in ears. The kids do not understand that this is only temporarily and start to cry. Everyone would be looking at you and think, why can you not do anything so that the child is quite? But luckily after the plane is on its height and belts can be released and you can take you child on your lap, then it is peace

• but it is not for long time because then it is time for landing and a child should sit on its own space but he does not want and once again the whole story with crying baby starts again.

My advise if you have little children, do not travel by plane, train is better, you have a lot of space and the kid can also move around, the sound of running wheels also can help a child fall asleep.

I would advice to travel to park or for example to see but to rent own apartment, bungalow so that it is almost like your home. You could do everything yourself, cooking, going for small walks with backpacks, some food so that you can make picnics. You can do to climb rocks and maybe to forest and use that to study trees, insects, animals and just to love nature.

In some holiday places you also can rent bicycle and that is the best for children, because you can travel for a bit longer distance and children do not need often pauses.

We often went to coastal area, went fishing not for food but just for the fact of putting together your fishing rod and to learn to be patient and quite, but also very attentive. Once a fish was caught we threw it back into water

If you go to forest, what you can do is to pick up some berries and mushrooms, the best about that is you can do some jam at home and usually they taste better than from shop. As to mushrooms you could add them to your evening meal.

The children usually very excited to taste the fruits of their own hunt :)
