RE: South Quarter, Terminal 3, berburu foto refleksi
I live in Oleksandriya. It's a small town with about 100,000 residents, right in the center of Ukraine. I wouldn’t call it a village exactly, since we have a McDonald's and various other things, but it’s still provincial.
As for the war, for Ukrainians, everything is "simple" — Ukrainians are fighting for their survival because russians want to destroy us as a state and even physically as a nation (the russians capture cities and bring mobile crematoriums with them, burning bodies to leave no trace).
Many russians are indeed fighting for money, because their army now offers 2 million rubles for a contract (it started with 200,000 rubles, but clearly, their pool of willing soldiers is running out, which is why they had to raise the pay. We’ve already killed about 700,000 of these scoundrels, so this obviously discourages the desire to fight for money. No matter how much they pay, it’s pointless if you’re killed and never get to see money). So, considering the losses on both sides, more than a million people have already died, and calling this a "conflict" as much of the official media does, avoiding the word "war," in my opinion, is a very inappropriate form of "liberalism."
