Okay, yesterday I went outside and noticed two bolt were gone from the windmill frame. One on each set of three bolts in the upper corners. A shearing action occurs from high winds on the bolts due to the pressure of the windmill.

I saw it and fixed the missing bolts. The new bolts cost $0.95 cents each with tax.

For the longest time, I thought of putting on a cross brace because of massive winds. Today there's supposed to be one.

So, I put this piece of plywood on a pallet and set the pallet across the back of the pickup truck.

Back up the pickup to the riser on the windmill frame, set up the ladder, climb up there and risk death, and voila!

Fortunately, I spent the extra twelve dollars for USA made drill bits. They drilled like shit through a goose.
I took all day to do this because I had to drive to the TruValue hardware store twenty-seven miles away and back. The local grocery store is next door - Oh you know Tru-Value went bankrupt yesterday.

Then, this chair that broke again that I fixed with fiberglass.

It has sat broke a couple of weeks a month ago since I fixed it with fiberglass the first time.

I was going to take it to the dump, then I thought of a @sultan-aceh fix after watching him make furniture. I took a sledgehammer and tried to knock the wheel base off the chair. The base slides on a Teflon ring pin.

All I had to do was make a cross out of two equal length 4" x 4"s and drill a hole in the middle as big as the Teflon ring pin. Slide the cross on it. Drill four holes for the wheel pins, Voila!

So I beat on it with the sledgehammer and the base would not come off for nothing. The fiberglass resin stuck to the Teflon ring pin thoroughly anchored. However, the two broken legs of the base fell off!

I couldn't move them. I couldn't refit them in their slots. But after the sledgehammer, I could. Obviously, the problem was not enough fiberglass!

I had some more fiberglass and resin. I did it!

When I went to the hardware store, another 16 oz can of resin was $22.95! By Jove and all that's Holy - KAMALA HARRIS bye!

Then I went to the grocery store. Wow! Ice cream $10 for 48 ounces that's like 1500 grams. Bread, the cheap lumpen proletariat kind, $3.95.

2 pound cheddar cheese $10. Meat, I bought a soon to expire tri-tip roast for $2.50 a pound marked down from $10 per pound. It is probably is deadly but we raised our own chickens and eggs here for awhile and we did not have an egg washer.
So, even though there is a recall on the eggs sold at the store for $5.50 for 18 eggs, you cook them longer.

2 liter sodas were $2. This is the cheap brand. Before Kamala Harris they were 50 cents.

And so on!

Oh yeah, remember the floods from hurricane Milton from Florida to North Carolina and all states and west in between, the one before Milton that was worse?
