New Steemit User - Eager to use and learn
Hi all steemit users,
I just signed up on Friday last week and got verified today.
Just logged in 2 hours ago and am in the process of learning about steemit. Like what I see so far on steemit and eager to learn more about this platform.
I am currently diversified in 4 crypto currencies and look forward to adding steem to my coin collection. Looks like steemit has a very good future from what i see.
Any tips for a new comer to steemit? Would appreciate your feedback.

I'll give you a few helpful tips to get you started (I just started today too)
To get a picture on the left hand side of your post for others to see, simply drag and drop the photo file from your computer onto the text field when typing your post, also there should is a button underneath the field of text that lets you upload a photo to your post, make it relevant to your posts so that it catches the readers eyes.
Get a profile picture, this was a little confusing to me at first because when you go into settings and try to upload a profile picture all you see is a text field for a "profile picture URL" use the site https://imgsafe.org
Right away on that site you can select a picture from your computer and upload it, then when it is uploaded right-click it and then click copy link address, then when you paste that into "profile picture URL" and click update you will now have a profile picture!

oh yeah and if you want to add a youtube video to your post, you can just copy and paste the URL of the video into your post and it'll automatically show up as a video.
Welcome on board :) There's a longer wait for verification now? Wow things have changed in all of...3...4...I can't remember but about that...months O_O
I have no advice on the crypto front as I know precious little about that. As for steemit itself, like any other blogging/social media kinda site. Write good posts about stuff that you find interesting/like doing/whatever and leave good comments on posts you find interesting :)
