I've been a professional artist for more than 10 years now. After graduating from an extensive painting/drawing program in Macedonia, I got a full Masters of Fine Arts scholarship that brought me to the USA. As part of the Steemit society what I am hoping for is to learn more about Steemit itself and its engines, as well as blockchain, cryptocurrency, information as currency etc. from all of you, so please drop me a link of related articles you think I should read. I'm also hoping to find occasional surprises in content that would keep me stimulated and make me browse on a daily basis. My biggest fear in life is monotony 😮, so lets make Steemit even more interesting together!
I would also like to reciprocate by sharing some of my writings on art, personal philosophies, upcoming travels trough photography, or whatever the mood brings 😂, hopefully making your day a little bit better by adding a positive taste to your cup of coffee while reading.

It'll take some time and growth, a bit of elbow grease. As an artist here, eventually you'll get somewhere. It's a popular tag.
I hope your friend explained voting power and Resource Credits to you. If not, when you have a moment, follow this link and you'll see some information about your account.

It's a safe link, but don't always trust links you find around here.
You'll see two bars near the top left. One is your voting power bar, the other is your Resource Credits bar. The more you vote, the lower both bars will go. Posts and comments will lower the resource credits bar further. If you completely drain the Resource Credits bar, you won't be able to vote, post, comment, etc. They do charge back up over time though, so learn to budget. As you find ways to earn money, try to build up a healthy amount of Steem Power in your wallet. That will give you more resource credits and you'll be able to post, comment, vote and all that fun stuff more often.
