I myself am a music producer (meaning I earn a fraction of my living from music), although synthwave is not my fav, despite being brought up into it (am in my 40s). I used to love it as a teenager, but today I only like the sound of old synth when used for eploratory purposes and in techno and goa. (you know, more MS20, much much less DX7).
