What is Jarvis?

Jarvis (for Steem) is a script that automates essential functions for your Steem account[s]. Currently, Jarvis is able to do the following tasks:

  • Transfer SBD & STEEM to a specified account (incl. encrypted memo)
  • Power-up STEEM to a specified account
  • Delegate STEEMPOWER to specified account[s]
  • Claim SBD, STEEM & STEEMPOWER rewards

Task Request

I'm looking for implementation into Heroku, to make it easier for people to have their script work in the background around-the-clock, in addition to a short guide (step-by-step) on how to set up Jarvis via Heroku.

That's it.

Thanks!

I presume you mean that someone should create a UI for the project that can then be uploaded to Heroku for people to use? In my opinion it's always better to be overly descriptive when it comes to creating a task, just so that you weed out the people who can't do it, and make it easier for whoever takes on the task. Of course they can contact you for more information, but I think it still saves both people some time.

Regardless, as I said on your other post, I hope someone takes on this task as it's a very useful project for people with multiple accounts, and ease of use is definitely important. Good luck!

I actually never really got into Heroku, but I think it would be quite neat for people to use a BaaS instead of hosting the script themselves on a server since Jarvis should run at least in the background round-the-clock.

The UI is in another task request. The idea is to have the following workflow in the end:

1.) Open UI
2.) Configure Jarvis
3.) Decide between running it locally, running it on a server or running it via Heroku

Now, many people would probably be overwhelmed, so a good step-by-step guide customized for Jarvis to get started with Heroku is important.

Thank you for your review, @amosbastian! Keep up the good work!

Will transfer with other Steem Token (Steem Engine) working?
