보현보살 권발품

부처님이 보현보살께 고하시되, 만약 선남자 선여인이

4가지 법을 성취하면 저 여래 멸후에 마땅히 이

법화경을 얻으리니,

일자는 모든 부처님의 호념(護念)이오,

이자는 여러 덕본(德本)을 심음이오,

삼자는 정정취(正定聚)에 들어감이오,

네째는 중생을 다~~건지오리다!라는

사홍서원(四弘誓願)의 첫 서원처럼, 일체 중생을

구원할 마음을 발하여야 할지니,

선남자 선여인이 이 같이 4가지 법을 성취하여야,

여래 멸후에 마땅히 이 경을 듣게 되느니라.

The Buddha said to the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, "If a good man or a good woman

if they fulfil the four dharmas.

Dharma Flower Sutra,

This is the favourite of all Buddhas,

Two is the cultivation of the various virtues,

The third is to enter the Pure Land,

and the fourth is to save all sentient beings.

Just like the first vow of the Four Hong Vows.

to save all sentient beings,

Good men and good women should fulfil the four dharmas in this way,

then you will rightly hear this sutra in the future.
