RE: Popular Science Fiction Robots (English/Turkish)

in #life6 years ago

Robots on the screen have long been turned into stars. They "made" the same contribution to the film industry, as it had once been in fantastic literature and animation, especially on the genre of cinema fiction. Millions of viewers are happy to go to the cinema when it comes to the next "robotic" movie.
I don't know whether you know or not, but if you are interested, the first robot that appeared on the silver screen was a woman, and her name was Maria. It was in 1927, in the era of modernism and constructivism, in the era of silent cinema and the economic crisis in Germany. It was there, at the UFA film studio, director Fritz Lang made the film Metropolis, spending about two million German marks on the film.

Fritz Lang's The Complete Metropolis - Theatrical Trailer
Mary is a robot created in the image and likeness of a simple girl who fell in love with the son of the owner of Metropolis. As befits a bad girl, robot Mary teaches the proletariat all sorts of bad things, such as violence and destruction. And only the intervention of goodies saves the city from destruction. According to the found fragments, “Metropolis” was restored in 1984, and cinematographers still use the frames from the original version with the then ideas of the distant future. The film Metropolis was a huge success in Europe and in America.
