Note to Self #6: Death is but Transformation of the New
Light enters a dark room through the cracks
Can't create an original masterpiece from recycled scraps
Change can't happen to a well oiled machine running full steam ahead. Breakdowns create opportunities to change that which no longer works
We see failures, setbacks and losses with such gross distaste and misunderstanding.
Yet, sometimes a complete breakdown of everything is the fertile ground we need to build from the ground up with completely new ideas and structures.
For that, we need to be willing to let go of our identity. The old. No matter how good a value and belief is, until we let go and empty out completely, we can't create space for the birth of new form. Perhaps dying to our old self is not a bad thing.
This is not a take on life and morbidity. It is about letting deep set ideas go.
We think we are nothing when we give up our values and sense of self.
In truth we become everything - with nothing holding us back, not even ourselves.

Wise words from a very wise lady!
Reminds me of Dr Joe Dispenza's book, "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself."
Now, I was thinking I had replied to this ... I should look out for this book. I hear his name ona lot of resonating topics.
Thanks for pointing that out @juliamulcahy

Seems like a dangerous road to go down, I don't know what kinda crazy I will come out as :)
I can relate!
It's a journey for sure, simple but not necessarily easy.
I don't think I fully understood it a few years ago. Even today, it's constant awareness of what I sometimes choose with biases. It takes a little practice, but it is nice ... When in some momentary windows ...
