5 Things You Might Not Know About!

Here's a quick list of a few things that you may or may not know about in life, and which could possibly be valuable to you. These are things that I personally find pretty useful in my life

  1. Meditation
  • If you think that mediation is only for sages, monks, yogis, etc. then think again. There's a reason why these types of people take meditation so seriously. There are several benefits to mediation, I won't go into it here, but it's basically like the gym for the mind. Yes it takes willpower and patience to start a meditation habit but the benefits are enormous.
  1. Personal Development
  • From my experience, there are TWO types of personal development. There's personal development for changing your outer world situation and who you are on the outside, and personal development for changing your inner world and who you are on the inside. Most of the popular personal development books or speakers that you may be familiar with, like Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk, Brendon Burchard, or whoever it is, mainly talk about success and achievement. And these are topics that help you develop the mindset to achieve success and money which are external things that are a part of your outer world. Then there's the other deeper side to personal development where you work to change you who are on the inside. To develop a greater understanding about life and everything about who you are as a person. A few examples of this inner world personal development would be meditation, building awareness, understanding the bad habits you do and working to dissolve them, understanding how your thinking patterns work, eating healthy, and a lot more.
  1. Aliexpress
  • Random list item, but it's a pretty popular site where they sell tons of items for wholesale price. I got into eCommerce for a bit and this is where a lot of "Dropshippers" get their items to sell for retail price.
  1. Cryptocurrency
  • I would assume most of the people on Steemit know about cryptocurrencies because of Steem on the markets, but just wanted to list it here. Definitely was something I wasn't too aware of a couple months ago. I heard about bitcoin a couple years back but never thought much of it. But cryptocurrencies, definitely something to check out as a lot of the tokens can be great investments.
  1. Open-mindedness VS Closed-mindedness
  • I mean obviously you know what these two mean, but I want to talk about how there are extremely open-minded people in this world, and there are people who are the complete opposite. You may or may not be aware that you are one or the other. Open-minded people will take the most crazy-sounding ideas and apply it to their life if they find value in it. It could sound like the most idiotic, crazy, stupid idea to a close-minded person, but hold lots of value to the open-minded individual. And these are things like taking Psychedelics to develop your psyche and who you are as a person. The closed-minded person will call that person a druggie and judge him for taking these psychedelics just because they are illegal or called a "drug". Open-minded people will also consider exploring other religions and not sticking to one religion at all but keeping an open-mind to what's out there.

That's my list, maybe I will make a video on it on my Youtube channel at "7thletter" but for now, hope you guys found some value in this list and take care!
