We know meditation is amazing...but do you know how to prevent energy congestion afterwards?

It is important to do physical exercises before & after meditation...to clean the the energy centers & the energy channels, so that higher energy, generated by the meditation, can easily flow through your physical & energy bodies with minimal obstruction.

When you mediate, especially if you are doing advanced meditations geared at spiritual growth ad acceleration ( yeah that's a real thing) then you may have noticed how when you are done you feel magical and blissful. You're coated in this amazing bubble of energy that can make you just want to cuddle up.

BUT THAT IS A MISTAKE! Yep, seriously! The best thing to do before and after a meditation is to MOVE!

Prior to mediation movement in the body, just like warming up before working out, prepares the energy body allowing for cleaner movement of the energy you receive. When this is not done energy can pool and congest in areas. Have you ever had pain in you body while meditating? This can be a sign of congestion & hindered energy flow.

So why is congestion bad? It is one of the root causes of energy imbalances and can materialize into physical, mental and emotional problems in the long run. Short term it can lead to lethargy. You may even try to meditation more for more energy and find yourself feeling depleted not realizing you are carrying too much energy and it is weighing you down like lead blanket.

Do not fear! These movements do not have to be difficult. In fact regularly doing them will help you assimilate more of the energy you generate and put it good use. You will notice quickly that you can move more quickly through the movements and have an improved range of motion.

So where do you find these simple, but necessary warm-up & assimilation exercises?

  1. They are widely available in many of the books written by Master Choa Kok Sui, the modern father of Pranic Healing and founder of Arhatic Yoga available here: http://amzn.to/2Ce88nF

  2. They are also detailed in the book Your Hands Can Heal you available here: http://amzn.to/2CdNNim

If free is more your style

You can learn these exercises and more about energy from fellow Pranic Healer & Coach Christian Long in this video:

An alternative to these specific exercises, though not nearly as effective is tapping and massing of the body before and after.

I hope you learned something new!

Sending much love & many blessings, Atma Namaste

Great post! I had never heard of this concept before. Followed! I suppose another a useful method would be Tai Chi, which is a method of moving energy or chi, and also a means of meditation. Feel free to check out my blog for an overview of Tai Chi as well as other meditations. Here I'll link for ya:

Thank you! This is something we are taught in Arhatic Yoga so we can do more energy intense meditations without the side effect of congestion. If you do powerful meditation be sure to move your body!
Tai Chi is definitely something I want to learn! Coordinating meditation with physical movement is very beneficial and relaxing. I bet you'd like Super Brain Yoga as well. It's so quick, only takes a minute each day. It has amazing, lasting improvements in focus and mental clarity as it helps balance the energies in the brain. Here's a link to my video on how to do it https://steemit.com/dlive/@beradiantamy/2a5bc9b0-0f57-11e8-956c-1531c3d89b8c
