A sweet memory

Little gestures can make a big difference in the way we experience things in our life. It is not always about the big things, sometimes just a very simple thing can delight our heart. This is one of such experience. Me and hubby had booked a hotel stay to celebrate one of our life's milestone. During booking our stay the hotel had checked with us if we were celebrating anything, and we had told them that it was our anniversary.

When we reached the hotel, we were surprised by their welcome. It was not the first time that we had booked a hotel to celebrate our special occasion. We always celebrate our anniversary by travelling to some place for which we book a hotel stay. So it was common for us, but this was the first time we received such a welcome.

At the entrance there were rose petals laid out for our welcome. It made us feel so special, and none of this was our demand or request, it was all done by them as a surprise for us.

In the room there was this small arrangement on the table.

All of these things would barely cost them anything, but just look at the impact it had on us, I was truly overwhelmed with it.

It was just the most amazing experience I had from all the hotel stays that I have had till date. If I get a chance I will surely visit this place once again.
