The Strokes-The New Abnormal (Some thoughts on this new album and my favorites in it)

The last album of The Strokes has literally been on loop for the whole month and I think it's time to share some of my favorites in it. The New Abnormal is such a great album and I think it's really difficult to find good albums nowadays since most of the artists usually go for EPs or singles which is understandable. However, I miss this kind of albums. I mean, the albums that make me feel excited and curious to go and listen to every song, and then like them all. This happens really rare so seems like I'll be absorbing the album and the other songs of the band for a while.

1)The Adults Are Talking

This is the intro song of the album, and also the song that made me keep listening to the album. I remember falling in love with it the first time I heard :)

2)Brooklyn Bridge to the Chorus

This song is just fire. It has simple but very deep lyrics at the same time, while making you want to dance. I don't know how they could do that.

3)Bad Decisions

This song has a powerful message and this message is perfectly conveyed with its music video. I recommend you to listen to this song with its video because everything's gonna make much more sense. It's basically about how Strokes was seen as a product by the media at the beginning of the 2000s and there were many bands and artists that were trying to copy them. It's a great satire.
