RE: New to Steemit and Trying to Stick Out in the Crowd? Check out the Steemit Newbie Resteem Initiative

in #newbieresteemday7 years ago (edited)

Thanks for this post, as a noob posts like this are super helpful. I have to say that pretty much every comment I have made on peoples posts have had some reply. When you look at the negativity on the likes of FB or twitter etc Steemit seems to be an oasis of sound (sound is a local-ism for good people).

I love to produce as much quality content as possible, some of my posts are just a quickie so to speak but some span multiple posts because the information that I am providing is technical or would be lost if it was all put in one post.

Had a quick browse of your profile too, I really enjoyed your Woke AF hiphop playlist. I was actually thinking of doing something similar but I wont go into the detail of it now.

I have to say you are correct in what Steemit is. Its more than just a social network, hell I've posted hundreds of recipes, photos and heartfelt original content that has taken me days of research to get all the correct verified information. What have I ever received for it? -€.

Hosting a website and the time spent on other platforms has ended up at a negative for me anyway. I am a strong believer in the technology behind Steemit and the blockchain in general so why wouldn't I be on a blockchain platform?

Ok so I am rambling now. You have a new follower and I am looking forward to seeing more from you.

Almost for got to pop in a link.... well I actually did and then remembered. Have a read of this if you like, I am hoping to be able to help people where I can. https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@moonunit/a-dummies-guide-on-passive-v-s-active-income-the-path-to-freedom

If you want to get a feel for me and the research I put into posts have a read of this one...

Ok I wont take up any more of your time. Have a Great day and keep on Steemin!

@moonunit thank you for writing such an awesome comment as well as checking out my blog! I need to do another edition of hiphop playlists soon - I really like doing the research for those! I'd be interested in checking out your version too. The hiphop/rap world is upside down and getting the real knowledge out there is seriously needed. But I could rant on for days about the corruption of the rap world..
anyways back to the matter at hand, I will totally check out the links you dropped and thanks for the follow! I'll be sure to follow you back too.

I couldn't agree more, I think once it becomes a business greed takes over and the real artist is left behind. I have a real soft spot for good gangsta rap, east, west, Wherever.

I really must do up that post or at least ad it to my backlog. I have too many projects on the go!!

Looking forward to your next one.
