Sony slapped Disney in the face for pushing too hard

in #news5 years ago

The entire MCU movie franchises are taking a big hit as Disney's plans are foiled by Sony.

While renegotiating rights for the Spiderman character, who was planned to be the next holder Comics Universe After making an offer Sony refused, Disney insisted in making offers not good enough for Sony.

Considering Disney planned to revoke the timeline from being centered around Iron Man into Spider Man, suddenly losing it's most important character for good may cause the type of change that could wreck movies already in production.

Sony understood how fundamental Spider Man was, apparently more so than Disney themselves. This could strike a deep wound into Disney studios as a whole. Fans of the MCU might have to start worring.

Hopefully they work it out (and they probably will) but I think Sony stands to lose more than Disney if there isn't a deal. Sony should have bought the rights to all the Marvel characters when they had the chance.

Disney had plans for Spider-Man in MCU. Plans too big for their own good. They took an arrow to the knee, and they shot it themselves.
