Northern California Carr Fire burns through Redding
The Carr Fire is currently just south of me about 50 miles and is burning through my old home town of Redding California. This is a snap shot from the I-5 highway driving through Redding California. The photo was taken by a woman named Shannon Long on my FB.
More than 60 fires are blazing through california right now with the Carr Fire being one of the most vigilant and only 3% contained. Over 140 homes destroyed so far. Temperature reached over 100 degrees in Redding today and are expected to be similar highs throughout the week, with possibility of 112 degrees or more.

I feel for those poor families who lost their homes. We need to keep them in our htoughts and prayers. Perhaps Bonnie you could write song that would showcase their need and the devastation that this tragic fire did. It would be a wonderful gift to them. Thanks for sharing dear Bonnie @soundlegion.
Oh shit, these fire can be devastating as you know. I hope the emergency departments get it under control soon, We’ve had a few close calls with bush fires where I live ... it’s scary as fuck. Please take care Shavon
Absolutely insane. Wildfires to that calibur feel so surreal being from the northeast. Hoping they catch a break sooner rather than later.
