I agree and try to consume both. For daily consumption for most healthy people, I think focusing on prebiotics seems like a more sensible course. In my first source, they talked about a population of people who lived in very harsh conditions and still lived very long healthy lives -- and the researchers figured out their diet played a big role in that.
