Secrets of Serbian cuisine

When we had a rest in the Serbian balneological resort “Nishka Banya”, we went around all the restaurants and bars there, since there are very few of them there. But we wanted to try everything in the Serbian cuisine and see for ourselves how delicious it was. It turns out that it is not only tasty, but also healthy. They say that Serbian meat, vegetables, milk and other products are much better and more natural than Bulgarian because of the fact that Serbia is not a member of the European Union, does not receive imported goods in such quantities as EU countries and itself carries out its agriculture.
Honestly, on the palate, I would agree to this 100%, but in fact I don’t know.
But the difference in the taste of meat, tomatoes and milk we noticed immediately.
So. The most delicious, the restaurant in the resort "Nishka Banya", in our opinion, is the "Gourmet Secret".

It is located on Republic Square and it is not so easy to spot it - only the terrace is visible from the outside.

It turned out that this delicious blackberry wine, sweetened with honey, is made in Serbia. The bottle says “Blackberry Fruit Wine” in Russian 😊. I really liked it. This bottle of 200 ml in terms of dinars costs 140 rubles (restaurant price).

This is an indoor room that you can see when you go to the toilet. It's just that nobody wants to sit here in the summer - it is fresher and more interesting on the street.

This large dish with meat and potatoes is called "Mash Srybska Skara." Here a little more than one kilogram of various meat treats: two types of splash, kebab and something else - it's hard to pronounce the name. Everything turned out to be very tasty!
By the way, you can pay with dinars or from any plastic card - there is a terminal.

And this is a window onto the terrace from the kitchen. Delicious white buns - Serbian bread - are baked in the foreground.

As a result, we had dinner for three with drinks in the amount of 2570 dinars, which today equals 1733 rubles.
Parking near the restaurant is everywhere and free of charge, but we walked there because we lived nearby, and the Nishka Banya resort is small in itself.
The waiter very pleased us with his quick wit and desire to understand us.
In general, I wholeheartedly recommend coming here if you go to relax in this wonderful place.
